A crash in Monroe County has resulted in the driver facing a driving under the influence (DUI) charge.

State police at Lehighton said Devon Rine, 26, of Kunkletown, was operating a vehicle along Mountain View Road, in Polk Township, about 11:50 p.m. on Aug. 9 when the vehicle left the road, went up an embankment and overturned. Rine was not injured.He was found to be under the influence and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
