Resignations by the few active members of the Summit Hill Community Ambulance will result in Summit Hill borough being without its own community ambulance, officials announced at an emergency meeting. By Aug. 31, Joe Vorsteg, president of the ambulance corps, and Cindi Kashlak, secretary, will resign their positions. Vorsteg and Kashlak, for the most part, have been the two main responders on ambulance calls in the borough. Most of the other members on the 12 man roster have failed to run on emergency calls.
