A Luzerne County man was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:15 a.m. on Saturday. State police at Hazleton said Nathan Hoffman, 33, of Freeland, was northbound on SR93 in the Hudsondale section of Packer Township, Carbon County, when he crossed into the southbound lane and onto the berm. His Chevrolet Silverado truck struck a dirt embankment before flipping over onto its side and coming to rest facing north in the northbound lane. Hoffman was pronounced dead at the scene.
