Jewelry was taken in a Schuylkill County burglary.

State police at Frackville said the residence of Virginia Gloria Schutte, 72, of Hazleton, and located at 13 W. Players Way, East Union Township, were entered sometime between July 26 and Aug. 2. Removed were several diamond rings, diamond necklaces, an emerald diamond watch, and a pearl necklace. No value was placed on the missing items.
