Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, will hold Holy Community at the 9 a.m. service on Sunday, Aug. 5.

The theme is "Scholarship Sunday." Seminarian recipients will be participating as liturgist and homilist. Plus college student recipients will be present to receive their gifts. Coffee house fellowship follows. All are welcome to attend.Upcoming events at Trinity include Sunday School for all ages starting weekly at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9.Trinity's Golf Outing at Mahoning Valley Country Club will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30. It will benefit Family Promise of Carbon County, who assists homeless and low income families throughout the county.
