Lansford driver facing DUI count

A Lansford man was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) after police conducted a traffic stop.

According to Summit Hill police, on March 4, at 1:15 a.m., officers were on routine patrol along SR902 when they observed a vehicle that was driving in front of them drive off the roadway and back onto the roadway, crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic.Police conducted a traffic stop and a short investigation revealed that the driver, Daniel Faille, 23, of 38 Jones St., was intoxicated and was also driving on a suspended license.He was charged with two counts DUI, driving while suspended, careless driving and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
