Deadline nears for BDWN Writer's Conference

Ann Boyle, author and freelance writer, will share her experience and knowledge as keynote speaker at the Black Diamond Writers' Network third annual Write it Right writers' conference. The conference runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, April 21 at the Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce Building, 91 S. Progress Ave., Pottsville.

The day's events will also include the following sessions:• "The Agent-Writer Relationship: Where Do We Go From Here?" presented by Boyle• "Writing From Real Life" and "Offbeat Marketing for Your Writing," presented by Patricia Gallagher• "Digital Publishing" and "Writing Paranormal Mystery," presented by Phil Giunta• "Breaking into Niche Publications," presented by Sara Hodon• "Writing the Romantic Suspense Novel" and "Breathing Life into Your Novel with Emotion," presented by Autumn Jordon• "Writing Historical Fiction for Children," presented by Faith Reese Martin• "Action, Angst & Accuracy," presented by Terry WebbPresenters will also sell their books at an author fair at the end of the day.Deadline for pre-registration is March 31 and seating is limited.
