Mahoning Valley resident Adam Kokinda approached the Mahoning Planning Commission to discuss the possibility of putting in a nine-hole golf course at the former Packerton Yards in the township. The property is owned by the Zaprazny family. The planning commission advised Kokinda to approach the Mahoning Zoning Hearing Board on the matter. Kokinda said that the course would be available for both private and public use.
