Dr. Robert R. Frantz, of Mahoning Valley, was honored by the Pennsylvania Medical Society for devoting 50 years to the medical profession. Frantz, who has an office in the Mahoning Valley Medical Center, was presented with a plaqua by Dr. Edward Miller, president of the Carbon County branch of the Medical Society, during the dinner program at the Mahoning Valley Country Club. Dr. Frantz has been practicing medicine in the Lehighton area for 22 years. Frantz, 77, announced he is closing his office March 1.
