H. S. Gilbertson of Lansford, superintendent of personnel of the L.N.C. Co., announced the company's proposed plan to construct a new $40,000 plant at Andrewsville, near their present No. 6 plant at the East end of Lansford. The plant will manufacture "lightweight aggregate," which is a substitute building material for the combination of concrete and steel. The L.N.C. has been working for years to perfect this new material and should it prove successful, it will undoubtedly revolutionize the industry.
