A Schuylkill County teen was charged following a two vehicle crash that occurred about 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, along SR61 at the intersection with Carbon Arch Road, in North Manheim Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Owen M. Jennings, 60, of Pottsville, was stopped in the left lane at the intersection driving a 2004 Lincoln Town Car, waiting for a red light and attempting to turn onto Carbon Arch Road.Troopers said a 17-year-old male from Schuylkill Haven, driving a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier, failed to stop and the front of his car hit the rear of the Lincoln.Jennings, the teen and his passenger, a 12-year-old female from Schuylkill Haven, were all not injured. Troopers said the Chevrolet sustained considerable damage and had to be towed from the scene. The Lincoln had minor damages.Troopers cited the teen for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.
