Panther Valley Public Library launches summer reading program

Pet lovers of all kinds are invited to join "Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales" at the Panther Valley Public Library, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.

The 2012 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prize drawings, story hours and more.Sessions for children ages 2-6 will be held Tuesdays, June 19 to July 24, from 10-11 a.m., and Thursdays from June 21 to July 26, from 10-11 a.m. Sessions for children ages 7-12 will be held Mondays, June 18 to July 23, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.To register or for more information for the Summer Library Program please contact the library at (570) 645-3780.The library welcomes children of all abilities.All programs are free of charge.
