Kerry Maureen Jones, daughter of Donald and Sally Ann Jones of Lansford; and John Michael Uher, son of John and Josephine Uher of Coaldale, were united in marriage on Nov. 12, 2011 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Lansford.

The Rev. Kenneth Medve officiated the double ring ceremony. Kathleen Crampsie was the vocalist. Meghan Blazosky of Lansford and Trish O'Gurek of Summit Hill were the readers. Mike Williams of Allentown was the bag piper.Given in marriage by her father, the bride selected Claudia Kupec of Summit Hill; Kara Krajnak of Lansford; Amie Fitpatrick of Bethlehem; Lauren Williams of Summit Hill; Brynn Dunkelberger of Nazareth; Jennifer Jones of Nesquehoning; Amy Alexander of Nesquehoning; and Candice Gimbor of Lansford as her bridesmaids.Groomsmen were Bryan Uher of Coaldale; Michael Uher of State College; Colin Jones of Lansford; Brian Jones of Huntington Beach, Calif.; Jesse Tuckett of Tamaqua; Ed Dunkelberger of Nazareth; Robbie Kenesky of Tamaqua; and Christopher Puksar of Lansford.Following the ceremony, the newlyweds welcomed friends and family to a reception at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall. They plan to honeymoon in Ireland this summer.Pre-nuptial parties included a bridal shower, given by the mothers and the attendants, at the Lansford American Legion.The new Mrs. Uher is a 2002 graduate of Panther Valley High School; a 2006 graduate of Arcadia University, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in English; and a 2010 graduate of Wilkes University, where she earned a master of education degree.She is currently employed as an English teacher at Panther Valley High School.Mr. Uher is a 2004 graduate of Panther Valley High School. He is an electrician with IBEW, Reading.The couple resides in Coaldale.
