State police at the Fogelsville barracks are investigating an identity theft case in Lower Macungie Township.

The victim is a 52-year-old male from the township.Police said the incident was reported at 1 p.m. Nov. 25. The victim told police an unknown actor opened a credit card in his name and attempted to use the card to make a purchase online.
