PV third grade class takes care of a hometown hero

Heather Wagner's third grade class at Panther Valley Elementary School adopted a soldier currently stationed in Afghanistan. The local hero and PV graduate is SPC Samuel Michlovsky, United States Army. The class sent six care packages and have been penpals with the soldier since October. The students, as well as the other third grade classes at PV also sent nearly 200 Christmas cards for Michlovsky to distribute to American soldiers.
