A new era of telephone service begins in Nesquehoning. Dial telephone service will begin at 8 a.m. tomorrow. No interruption in service will be made at the time of the changeover. Subscribers are, at present, conncected to the old magneto type switchboard and the new dial central office equipment. Bell engineers will sever the switchboard lines simultaneously, thus placingg the dial service into immediate operation. All local calls will be dialed. To call Lansford, the subscriber will dial "8" and give the Lansford number to the operator. To call Lehighton, dial "9".
