Gray, 54, of 142 Penn St., Tamaqua, entered a guilty plea to charges of corruption of minors and indecent assault. President Judge William E. Baldwin deferred sentence to a later date and ordered a presentence investigative (PSI) report be prepared by the adult probation department. Gray was cited by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods.Revoke IPPSydney Len Pope, 47, Shenandoah, was removed from the Immediate Punishment Program (IPP) by President Judge William E. Baldwin and was re-sentenced on a DUI charge to serve nine months to five years in the county prison. He had entered a guilty plea to the charge and was placed on probation last February for 60 months.No defenseRonald Dale Hepner, 68, Hegins, entered a plea of nolle contendre (no defense) to a charge of disorderly conduct after the district attorney's office withdrew the charge of failure to comply with registering as a sexual offender and was sentenced by Judge Baldwin to pay a $200 fine and costs of prosecution.Revoke freedomJoshua Michael Tassone, 21, Pottsville, had his probation revoked and was re-sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes to undergo a period of incarceration of three to 12 months in the county prison and receive credit for 36 days served. The court granted him permission to participate in the Vocational Rehabilitation Program in the prison and also work release status if he qualifies. Tassone had pleaded guilty in February 2010 to charges of possesson of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and was placed on probation.Jaclyn Marie Hollywood, 29, Frackville, had her parole revoked by Senior Judge D. Michael Stine and she was remanded to the county prison to serve the original sentence of Nov. 25, 2008, and her new maximum date for release was set at April 18, 2013. However, the court will consider an early parole to house arrest upon the defendant securing employment. She had pleaded guilty to retail theft in February 2009 and was place on probation but was revoked on Nov. 10 and later was given another chance and was placed on probation.John Charles Russen, 21, Lost Creek, West Mahanoy Township, had his probation revoked by Stine and was re-sentenced to serve three to 23 months in the county prison. Russen had pleaded guilty in May 2009 to simple assault and was placed on probation.Jonathan Thomas Porter, 26, Pottsville, had his probation revoked by Judge Baldwin and was re-sentenced to serve three to 12 months in the county prison with credit for serving 49 days plus 21 days credit for serving in a rehabilitation center. He was sentenced on assault charges.Shirley Anne Bakely, 53, Pottsville, had her parole revoked by Judge Domalakes and she was committed to the county prison with loss of 1,237 days of liberty and her new maximum date for release was set at Nov. 21, 2014. She had pleaded guilty in November 2007 to assault charges.SentencedBrian Keith Kintzel, 47, Pine Grove, entered a guilty plea on March 23 to charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering Holly Brosius, Pine Grove Township, criminal mischief to her car and loitering and prowling and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to be included in the IPP to serve 90 days under house arrest beginning Sept. 7 and pay a $12 daily fee for the electronic monitoring, followed by 20 months on probation, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and a $50 fee for each month on probation.The court also directed Kintzel not to walk in front of the victim's home at 3059 Sweet Arrow Lake Road. He was cited by Trooper John Carr.Bail hearingsJudge Cyrus D. Dolbin handed down rulings in the bail hearings as follows:Amber Strohl, 28, of 44 Mauch Chunk Street, Tamaqua, had her bail set at $500 unsecured with the stipulation that she must be released to a dual diagnosis inpatient treatment facility and be transported by the county sheriff's office. Strohl faces a charge of theft.Jerry J. Feathers, 31, of 218 Washington Street, Tamaqua, had his bail set at $5,000 unsecured and he must reside at 218 Washington Street with his mother and shall not relocate without prior approval of the court. Feathers faces a charge of burglary.Moises Gonzalez, 29, of 510 Poplar Street, Catasauqua, had his bail set $10,000 percentage cash. He faces a charge of burglary.Tina M. Hiester, 29, Pottsville, had her bail modified to include she shall have contact with her children as approved by the Children and Youth Services Agency. She faces a charge of endangering welfare of a child.Stephanie L. Enders, 30, Schuylkill Haven, had her bail revoked and she was remanded to the Schuylkill County Prison. She faces a charge of aggravated assault.Judge Charles M. Miller ruled on bail hearings as follows:Michael Howard Startzel, 27, of 45 North Greenwood Street, Tamaqua, had his bail revoked because the court ruled he is a threat to abscond and violated the terms of his bail by being arrest for two other crimes and was remanded to county prison. He faces charge od delivery and possession of a controlled substance. Judge Dolbin refused to reduce his bail on a charge of access device fraud.Nicholas Kerstetter, 28, of 121 Fifth Street, Tamaqua, had his bail modified to include he must not have contact with the victim. He faces charges of aggravated indecent assault.Steven K. Maxwell, 33, Girardville, had his bail set at $10,000 unsecured bail with stipulations he must reside at 115 North John Street, Girardville, shall not possess nor consume alcoholic beverages, controlled substance or drug paraphernalia, shall not travel outside of Pennsylvania without written permission from the district attorney. He faces a charge of robbery.Hailey Lynn Sipple, 19, Minersville, had her bail set at $5,000 unsecured and she shall reside at 2009 Coal Street, Port Carbon and must not relocate without the district attorney's permission. She faces charges of criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property.Enters guilty pleaAnthony Lewis Craig, 38, an inmate at the state correctional institution in Ryan Township, pleaded guilty to charges of terroristic threats and harassment and was sentenced by Judge Miller to serve 18 months to 36 additional months in the state prison and pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and court costs. He was charged by Trooper Edward Lizewski of terrorizing a librarian at the prison.RevocationsBryce Beaver, 36, Shenandoah, had his parole revoked by President Judge William E. Baldwin and his 273 days of liberty taken away and added to his maximum date and he was committed to the county prison to serve out his sentence. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct last October and was placed on probation.Timothy Earl Hostetter, 24, Auburn, had his probation and parole revoked by Judge Miller and he was resentenced on the charge of homicide by vehicle, his 172 days of liberty are disallowed and he must serve one month in prison before being eligible for re-parole and on the charge of being involved in a vehicle accident will have to serve three years on probation. Hostetter pleaded guilty to the charges and after serving 11 1/2 months in the county prison was released on parole. He was involved in a head-on collision in Deer Lake Borough.Dismiss chargesA motion by District Attorney James P. Goodman to nolle pros simple assault and recklessly endangering charges filed against Dennis Yezulinas, 23, Shenandoah, was granted by Judge Baldwin.
