The Commonwealth's first key witness placed Julies C. Enoe of Reading at the scene of the crime. The defendant is on trial in the Schuylkill County Court for the alleged fatal shooting of Bruce Forker in his Shenandoah home in March of 2010.

Damon L. Ennett, who lives in Freeland, testified he drove from his home and met Enoe in Shenandoah. He claimed he stayed in the car as the get away driver and when Enoe and another man, both who had entered Forker's home, came running to the car, that Enoe screamed at him, "Go, go, I hit him," and they drove away. Forker died of a gun shot wound.Ennett testified he met Enoe the day before the shooting in a barber shop in Reading and the plan was for them to go to Shenandoah to get "money and drugs" from Forker and divide it. He said that morning he left home around 1 a.m. and met Enoe and another man whom he identified as a relative to Enoe's. From the baseball field they all went in one car with him driving and he parked the vehicle near Forker's home and both Enoe and his relative went into the home.Several state troopers testified of the investigation into the crime, such as interviewing Kasa Brennan, in whose home the shooting took place, of interviewing Enoe the day after the shooting, examined the car Ennett had used.The trial is being presided by Judge Jacqueline Russell. This is the second trial for Enoe as a verdict could not be reached by a jury in the first trial. In the second trial District Attorney James P. Goodman is not seeking the death penalty. Enoe is on trial on charges of criminal homicide, four counts of endangering the welfare of another person, two counts of aggravated assault and one count each of criminal conspiracy, burglary, robbery. theft and simple assault.
