A Schuylkill County man pleaded guilty to his part in a burglary in Carbon County was was told he faces a prison term at the time of sentencing. Several defendants in pending drug cases also entered guilty pleas in the county court on Tuesday before President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.

Penn Forest TownshipJoseph Michael Breuer, 22, of Cressona, pleaded to one count of criminal conspiracy to commit burglary.He was arrested by state police at Fern Ridge for his part in a break-in at a home along SR534 in Penn Forest Township that occurred on Nov. 20, 2008. The listed victim is John W. Williams. Taken in the entry was copper water piping valued at over $3,400.Troopers were able to trace the incident to Breuer by DNA. Two cigarettes found in the bathroom of the home were tested. Breuer's DNA was found on the cigarettes.Nanovic told Breuer, who has a prior criminal record, he faces a prison term in the standard range between 21 and 27 months minimum up to seven years maximum.Nanovic deferred sentencing and ordered the adult probation office prepare a presentence investigation (PSI) report.Drug casesSeveral defendant in pending drug cases also entered pleas.Anthony Gerald Saslo III, 24, of Palmerton, pleaded to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-marijuana.He was arrested on March 14 when agents of the state Attorney General's office served a search warrant at his residence at 699 W. Princeton Ave. Found in the home was a half-pound of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia and a small quantity of cocaine.Nanovic placed him on probation for two years and ordered he get a drug and alcohol (D&A) evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment, supply a DNA sample and pay the $250 fee and zero tolerance imposed on D&A use which will include random testing.Tyler James Easterly, 19, of Palmerton, pleaded to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-marijuana.He was arrested at the same time as Saslo. He was found in the basement of the home by AG agents when they served the search warrant. He was attempting to hide marijuana in the ceiling of the basement, the report stated.Nanovic placed him on probation for a year and ordered he get a D&A evaluation, supply a DNA sample and pay the $250 fee and must submit five job applications per week and report to the adult probation office on his efforts to find employment.Robert Wayne Rollins, 35, of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, pleaded to one count of possession of solvents for release as toxic vapors. He was arrested on June 29, 2010, in the parking lot of Penns Peak along Maury Road.He had a cylinder of nitrous oxide gas and was distributing it to others in the lot while they were attending a concert at the entertainment facility. Rollins told Nanovic the gas was inhaled to get a "short high".Nanovic placed him on probation for a year and ordered he get both a D&A and mental health evaluations with zero tolerance imposed on D&A use.Each defendant sentenced was also ordered to pay court costs and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
