Uriah Heep, an English hard rock band which is on its 40th anniversary tour, makes a stop Friday night at Penn's Peak.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. and tickets will be available at the door."Into the Wild" is Uriah Heep's 23rd studio album, which follows the completion of the band's 40th Anniversary Tour.Uriah Heep arrived in the United States for the American leg of its tour about two weeks ago.The band started the recordings for "Into the Wild" in January 2011 at Liscombe Park Studios in Buckinghamshire England. The album includes 11 brand new songs, including some epic additions to the band's huge catalogue of rock classics.Guitarist and founding member Mick Box said, "We are delighted and excited to be joining the Frontiers roster. We see it as a really fantastic move and we are now fully immersed in recording process and hope to deliver the album they want, we want and the fans want.Uriah Heep debuted in 1970 with the release of one of Hard Rock music's milestones "Very 'eavy... Very 'umble" and have since sold in excess of 30 millions albums worldwide.They constantly tour in the world, playing in over 53 countries and the band's live setlist features hits from the 70s and 80s, such as "The Wizard", "Free 'n Easy", "Sunrise" and their monster hits "Easy Livin'", "July Morning" and "Lady in Black", as well as new material.Other members besides Box are Trevor Bolder, bass and vocal; Rusell Gilbrook, drums and vocals; Phil Lanzon, keyboards and vocals, and Bernie Shaw, lead vocals.:The band is named after the Dickens character Uriah Heep from the novel David Copperfield.They even titled their first album Very 'eavy…Very 'umble using the character's signature phrase of very 'umble.
