Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on several arrests made by officers recently.

On March 16 about 6:18 p.m. officers responded to 4040 Hunter Drive, in the Still Water Lakes development, in Pocono Summit, for a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers identified Mark Nelson, 50, and a juvenile male, at the scene. A further investigation revealed Nelson had assaulted the juvenile, his son.He was placed under arrest and charged with smiple assault and harassment.On Tuesday, March 22, about 2:49 a.m. officers were dispatched to 2843 Fairhaven Drive, in Tobyhanna, for a domestic dispute. While en route officers were advised that the male in the incidnet left the scene driving a blue in color mini van. A short time later officers observed the van traveling southbound on SR196 in the area of A Pocono Country Place. The van was stopped and the driver identified as Kevin Peacock, 44, of Tobyhanna. While speaking with Peacock other officers went to the home and spoke with Leslie Cane, of Tobyhanna. She claimed Peacock had punched her in the face and she sustained an injury.Peacock was placed under arrest and charged with simple assault and harassment.On March 20 about 6:12 p.m. officers were dispatched to 77 Main St., Tobyhanna, to a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers made contact with Barbara Egan, 38. Officers observed signs of injury on her. Through an investigation it was learned her ex-boyfriend, Joseph Desario, 37, had allegedly struck her. He was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment.On March 18 about 10:45 a.m. officers observed a vehicle parked at the ballfield off Oak St., in Mt. Pocono. When officers approached the vehicle they observed a male llying on the backseat with a dog by him while another male was wrapped in a blanket lying on the ground near the passenger side of the vehicle.The male on the ground was identified as Robert Waters, 18, of Bangor. Police learned that Waters had an active warrant for his arrest out of Stroud Regional and Bangor police departments. He was taken into custody and lodged in the county prison in Snydersville.
