LCCC to present early childhood conference

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will host the 2011 Lehigh and Northampton Association for the Education of Young Children (LANAEYC) annual conference from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, at the main campus, 4525 Education Park Drive (off Route 309), Schnecksville.

Guest presenter, Holly Elissa Bruno, MA, JD, a nationally-recognized expert in the field of Early Childhood, describes herself as a "recovering attorney". As an author, professor, keynote speaker and radio host, Bruno has received rave reviews on her keynotes from Phoenix to Tulsa to Tampa. She will present "Professionalism: It's Not Just a 15 Letter Word".Bruno is an alumna of Harvard University's Institute for Educational Management and teaches leadership and management courses nationwide for Wheelock College. She has served as Assistant Attorney General for the state of Maine and Assistant Dean at the University of Maine School of Law. While working as Associate Professor and Dean of Faculty at the University of Maine-Augusta, Bruno was selected as "Outstanding Professor".
