Arrests reported, incidents probed

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported on the following arrests made and incidents probed by troopers recently.

Troopers said a 13-year-old male from Jim Thorpe was cited for open lewdness for an incident that occurred about 3:52 p.m. on June 18 at the Penn Forest Streams Association building in Penn Forest Township.Troopers said the teen defecated near the front steps of the building and then fled on his bicycle.Troopers said they responded to 110 Teddyuscung Trail, Towamensing Trails, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, about 8:44 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Troopers said Hector Villanueva, 57, and Maria Bigas, 55, both of that address, were involved in a verbal argument over a telephone call.Bigas alleged that Villanueva pulled her hair and pushed her off her bed causing a minor injury to her head. The investigation into the incident is continuing, troopers said.Zasha Emerida Sanchez, of Long Pond, has been cited for theft of services. Troopers allege that Sanchez threw garbage in a dumpser at the Rainbox Plaza, SR209, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, without authorization from the owner. The incident occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 3, about 7 a.m.Barry Allen Frantz, 42, of Kunkletown, was cited for retail theft for an incident at the Sunoco service station located along SR209, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers allege that Frantz took a carton of cigarettes valued at $59.65 without paying for it. The incident occurred about 12:15 p.m. on July 24, troopers said.Troopers are investigating an incident in which a 16-year-old female, who resides along Meckesville Road, in Penn Forest Townshipo, received threating phone calls. The incident occurred during the time frame of 10:34 and 11:13 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1.
