Volunteer firefighter turnout gear hangs from the side of The Doggie Wagon in the Josiah White Park in Jim Thorpe on Friday morning. The borough was honoring its volunteers on Friday by holding a sidewalk sale, live music event and local collection drive. The money collected is going to the volunteer fire departments.
