State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said about 7:22 p.m. on Dec. 2 Jared L. Albright, 18, of Pine Grove, was driving a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse eastbound on SR443, in Pine Grove Township, and attempted to make a left turn onto Sunnyside Drive. A vehicle behind Albright attempted to pass by traveling into the westbound lane. The right front side of the passing vehicle struck the left side mirror and front door of the Eclipse.The driver of the other car pulled over momentarily and then fled eastbound. Albright was not injured.
