Pleasant Valley High School will present its fall drama, "Anne of Green Gables,) on Friday, Dec. 3, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5, 2 p.m. in the new auditorium.

Under the direction of Dan and Marcie Mulligan, "Anne of Green Gables" features a cast of 29 students who retell the much-loved story of Anne Shirley, an adopted orphan girl with a giant imagination and an unbridled enthusiasm that lights up her new found home on Prince Edward Island. This is a must see show for the whole family this holiday season.Kaitlin Brown plays the lead role of Anne Shirley, a redheaded 11-year-old girl who can talk anyone under the table. Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert of Green Gables, played by Brenna Norlander and Adam Parham, send for an orphan boy to help them out at the farm, but they get a precocious red-headed girl whose sunny nature and quirky imagination quickly win over her reluctant foster parents.Anne Shirley changes many other lives in her community, among them are neighbor and town gossip, Rachel Linde, played by McKenna Sickels, best friend and kindred spirit, Diana Barry, played by Katina Foley, and Miss Stacy, played by Nicole Chouljian. Early on, Anne declares her eternal antipathy for Gilbert Blythe, played by Devin Cetnar, a classmate who commits the ultimate sin of mocking her hair color."Anne of Green Gables" is supported by a large cast of townspeople and school children: David Geiger, T'mera Burger, Mariel McAllister, Alyssa Fama, Crystal O'Neill, Marc Anthony Lewis, Tommy Byrne, Christina Everett, Dominique Marshall, Tia Burger, Heather Frable, Jennifer Castillo, Bree Vazquez, Luis Rodriguez, Caitlyn Beck, Evelyn Sucro, Andrew Triola, Ryan Desjadon, Jasmine Bannister, Helene Chouljian, Karah Danubio and Jeff Lopes.Tickets are available at the door.
