Mountain Karate Academy was awarded three honors by the Eastern

U.S.A. International Martial Arts Association the weekend of Nov. 13, during their 23rd annual convention's prestigious awards dinner, held in Pittsburgh.Receiving awards were Master Paul Maglionico, awarded "Outstanding Contribution to the Martial Arts", Master Rich Gross, awarded "Master of the year", and Master John Fagliarone, awarded "Master Instructor of the year".The EUSAIMAA is an organization of Martial Artists with membership from 67 different countries. Mountain Karate has belonged to the organization for 20 years.One of the outstanding contributions to the Martial Arts offered by Mountain Karate is their Special Needs classes. These new and unique programs meet on Saturdays, the class for the children on the Autism Spectrum at 10 a.m., and the class for the mentally challenged at noon. Many students are benefiting by these classes and families with special needs children and adults are encouraged to come by and have their family member to try a class at no cost.Mountain Karate Academy offers the first lessons free to those interested in trying any of our martial arts classes.
