They were married July 3, 2006.SentencedMatthew Winters Bond, 42, Orwigsburg, who was found guilty by a jury last June of criminal charges was sentenced by President Judge William E. Baldwin to serve six to 23 months in the county prison with his sentence to begin Monday morning, Aug. 16. He received credit for having served 63 days. He was found guilty of simple assault and unlawful restraint.Revoke probationChristopher M. Treadwell, 20, Slatington, had his probation revoked by Judge Baldwin and he was re-sentenced to serve four to 23 months confinement and the sentence to run concurrent with a Lehigh County sentence he is now serving. He had entered a guilty plea last March to charges of retail theft from Walmart Store in Rush Township and had been placed on probation for 12 months.Kashif Emmit Harris, 23, Pottsville, had his probation revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes and he was re-sentenced to served not less than time served nor more than 12 months in the county prison and since he received credit for serving 32 days is eligible for parole. Harris pleaded guilty in November 2008 to giving false information and was placed on probation.William Raymond Putt, Schuylkill Haven, had his probation revoked by Judge Domalakes and he was re-sentenced to serve three to 18 months in the county prison with credit for serving 62 days, must comply with drug and alcohol treatment recommendation and pay all fines, costs and restitutions as previoisly imposed. Putt pleaded guilty in August 2009 to criminal trespsss and assault on his ex-girfriend.Bail hearingsJudge John E. Domalakes handed down rulings in recent bail hearings.Kareem J. W. Walker, 24, of 310 Van Gelder Street, Tamaqua, had her bail reduced from $10,000 straight bail to $1,000 percentage cash and she must live at her residence and any change of address must notify the distrtict attorney's office, shall not consume or possess alcohol or illegal substances, must obtain employment within 30 days, shall submit to random drug and alcohol tests and must have no contact with the victim, John Casler.Christopher D. Books, 20, of 423 Green St., Tower City, had his bail reduced from $10,000 percentage cash bail to $1,000 unsecured bail and he must reside at his present address and obtain employment within 30 days. He faces assault charges.Alyssa L. McGurl, 19, 909 Centere St., Ashland, had her bail reduced from $5,000 straight cash to $1,000 percentage and she must reside at her current address, shall not consume or possess alcohol or illegal substances or have any present at her home, obtain work in 30 days, submit to random drug and acohol tests, must abide by a 9 p.m. curfew unless at employment and grandmother must notifiy the district attorney within 24 hours if any of the conditions are violated.Juan D. Tinoco, 18, of 20 W. Washington St., McAdoo, had his bail reduced from $5,000 straight cash bail to $1,000 unsecured bail and he must reside at the McAdoo address and shall enroll in school and attend regular classes.Gets second chanceRobert E. Green Jr., while living on the Schuylkill Campus of Penn State University in North Manheim Township, was charged with retail theft from Walmart Store in Saint Clair in June 2008. He was placed in the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) program for first offenders but he failed to comply with the rules and it was revoked.Also a bench warrant was issued for failing to appear before a district judge for a hearing. He was brought to the county court from State College and pleaded guilty to retail theft and was sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes to serve 12 months on probation, pay $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and costs of prosecution. The bench warrant was dissolved and the forfeiture set aside. All 23 items taken from the store were recovered.
