A former Tamaqua resident, on his second tour of Vietnam, was reported killed in action on March 21, according to word received by his relatives in Tamaqua. Albert O. Krausser, 21, son of the late Albert and Agnes Hegarty Krausser, was killed while a member of an Army helicopter crew serving with the 335th Assault Company. Krausser returned to Vietnam in early March after spending a two-week leave with his aunts, Mary Kathryn and Ellen Hegarty of West Broad Street. He was a resident of Washington, S.C.
