The Rev. Burgess Gordon, pastor, will preside at both services.The adult Sunday school will meet at 9:45 a.m. in the Coaldale church.St. Paul LutheranThe schedule for St. Paul Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, for Sunday, Feb. 7, includes the Sunday school meeting at 9 a.m. and the service of worship at 10:30 a.m.The parish's annual congregational meeting will take place on Sunday, Feb. 14, immediately following the worship service. All members are encouraged to attend.Presbyterian ChurchThe Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church, Summit Hill, will have a regular worship schedule on Sunday, Feb. 7. The Sunday school and adult Bible study will begin at 9 a.m. and will be followed by a service of worship at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Fred Rogers, pastor, officiating.Scripture sharingThe weekly scripture sharing sessions at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill, will resume tonight at 7 o'clock in the church hall.Historical societyThe Summit Hill Historical Society Museum has an extensive collection of photographs and memorabilia, a model of the Switchback Railroad and many other artifacts that depict typical mining life in Summit Hill over the past 200 years. The museum is open on Friday evenings or can be visited by appointment by calling Maxine Vermillion, (570) 645-9772.
