Easter Egg Hunts

There will be two egg hunts in the Palmerton Borough on Saturday, March 27. The first will be held at the Palmerton Memorial Pool Grove at 11 a.m. The hunt is for ages infant to age 10. The rain date is Sunday, March 28 at 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Pool Pals and PMPA.

The second egg hunt will be held in the Palmerton Borough Park at 1 p.m. This hunt is for children ages 1-10. The rain date is Sunday, March 28 at 1 p.m.

Spring workshops

A series of free Tuesday workshops will be offered at the Palmerton Area Library in April. All workshops will start at 6:30 p.m., and no registration is necessary.

The first workshop, "The Drum Circle with TJ" will be on April 6, and will feature demonstrations of various drumming techniques and drumming in other cultures, plus lots of audience participation.

The second workshop will be on April 13, and will concern the history of the library and the Friends of the Library.

On April 20, the workshop will be "Get Writing, Get Published," presented by Diana Sinovic from the Greater Lehigh Valley Writer's Group, for those interested in forming their own writer's group, meeting other writers or getting their work published.

The final workshop will be April 27 and will be about flower arrangements from your garden.

PAHS All Night Party

There will be a parent meeting for the 2010 All Night Party at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 19 in the high school library at 7 p.m.

All parents are asked to attend the meeting to make this a special and safe night for all students. (This party is in the evening following graduation.)
