Music from three of the most recognized bands of rock n' roll will be performed this weekend at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe.

* Friday night, it's a double-header show with 2U doing songs from the rock band U2, as well as Invisible Sun singing hits of The Police. Concert time is 7:30 p.m. Admission is $24 at the door.* On Saturday, Get the Led Out makes a return to the mountain top venue, doing a performance from Led Zeppelin. The show begins at 8 p.m. with ticket prices $23 to $33.This is the second time this year at Get the Led Out is at The Peak.FridayThis is the first time 2U is appearing at Penn's Peak.Joseph Cumia, who was one of the founders of 2U about nine years ago, said in a phone interview from his home in Long Island, N.Y., "2U is not your typical tribute band. We are full time. All of us are full-time. Members of some other tribute bands have other full-time jobs. This is our job."The band has performed the music of 2U not only throughout the United States, but also in Central America, Trinidad, Honduras, and Monteray. The band has also performed week-long runs on the American Garden Stage at Disney's EPCOT Center for the pastthree years, and have been invited back for an extended run in the Summer of 2010.Cumia said there have been some changes in membership of the band since it started, "but I finally found a line-up that sounds like U2."Not only does2U take great pains to sound like U2, butthey strive to look like Edge and the other U2 members.Cumia confessed, "I was not a tremendous U2 fan. As far as following bands, I was into bands like Blue Oyster Cult growing up."He said band members felt the timing was right for a tribute to U2.On its present "360 Tour," Cumia said 2U has managed to take in four concerts of U2. "We saw four of their stadium shows," he said.He said the only way he would ever consider leaving 2U is if he was offered the job as roadie for Edge.Cumia said he is excited at the opportunity to play at Penn's Peak."Penn's Peak is a fairly large venue and we hope to fill it up."He said a music critic called 2U "the world's second best U2 show," with only U2 being better.For more information on the band,visit their web site at

He has been interested in Led Zeppelin since he heard his first Led Zeppelin record. Adam has played in a number of bands and with some really talented individuals; Brittany Fox, Tangier and musicians from Motley Crue and RATT to name a few.Lipke is an accomplished musician who can play a variety of instruments. He began on piano and when he moved to the United States, he started writing songs for the guitar. He moved to Philadelphia and earned a degree in music composition.Marchiano, a renowned Philadelphia based guitarist, who started playing at the age of 8, has played in several notable bands including: Angora, Black Eyed Susan and an East Coast club favorite, LeCompt.
