Two people were arrested on Wednesday and charged with a burglary at a Schuylkill County business. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the two, along with a third person, are responsible for a rash of commercial break-ins that have occurred in the southern part of the county.

Troopers said a joint investigation into the burglaries, which were ongoing from August, was started by them and members of the Orwigsburg Police Department. During the course of the investigation information was received implicating three persons as being responsible for the break-ins.Troopers said a surveillance team was set up to watch the three suspects. On Wednesday two of the suspects were apprehended shortly after burglarizing the Red and White Market along SR61 in North Manheim Township.The two were identified as David B. Ferrar, 23, and Michael A. Goetz, 18, both of Orwigsburg. The two were interviewed and admitted having committed 20 commercial burglaries in the area. During the interviews a third suspect was implicated.He was identified as Richard Cannauaccuiolo, 18, of Schuylkill Haven. He was picked up yesterday and questioned. Troopers said he also admitted his part in the burglaries.Ferrar and Goetz were arraigned on charges for the Red and White break-in before duty District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon. Cannauaccuiolo was arraigned before Plachko on charges for a break-in at Kegs and Kases in Schuylkill Haven that occurred earlier. The three will have additional charges filed concerning all the other burglaries, troopers added.Businesses victimized by the three included Bob's Pools, Dewald and Lengel, Burnie's Italian Water Ice, Dino's Pizza, Uniform Place, Kramer's Sold Rock, and Kegs and Kases, all of Schuylkill Haven; Goodwill Fire Company and Cressona Country Store, both in Cressona; Stop and Rock and Hidden Valley Golf Club, both of Pine Grove; and the Schuylkill County Country Club, Schuylkill Racquet Club and Top City, all of Orwigsburg.Troopers said Schuylkill Haven borough police assisted in the probe.
