Lehighton picked up an impressive non-league field hockey victory to highlight Saturday's scholastic sports action.

Rimbey deflected a shot by Corri McConville for the game's lone goal.Selinsgrove knocked Lehighton out of the state playoffs a year ago, so some redemption was met, as the Tribe earned the win in a game played on Pleasant Valley's turf field.Lehighton had a 9-2 edge in shots. Goalie Sarah Snyder made two saves to record the shutout.The Indians improved to 17-0 on the season. Selisgrove is now 16-1.Lehighton will return to action when it hosts the MVC semifinals on Wednesday.
