A Schuylkill County man was arrested early Tuesday morning entering and stealing from vehicles, state police at Schuylkill Haven said.

Troopers said about 2:30 a.m. they were dispatched to the 200 block of Coal St., Port Carbon, for a report of a male, dressed in a red hooded sweatshirt and carrying a flashlight, attempting to gain entry to vehicles. Troopers searched the area and located Kevin W. Kintzel, 21, of Port Carbon, in the area of Market and Fifth streets.Kintzel had numerous items on his person including a Sanyo digital camera. U.S. currency, cologne, Nintendo DS and various other items. Kintzel, troopers added, was under the influence of alcohol.Kintzel was taken into custody and arraigned on charges of receiving stolen property, theft from a motor vehicle, loitering and prowling at night, and public drunkenness.Troopers said all the victims are not known at the present time. Over $700 in property was recovered.
