Stephanie J. Beavers will present, "The Editor is Your Friend, a.k.a. Don't Forget the Editor!" at the March meeting of the Black Diamond Writers Network, Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Beavers will take a detailed look at the importance of editing, cover different types of editing, and present examples of some of the most common mistakes writers make. She will also discuss the value of a good editor to a writer.
