Mr. and Mrs. Gary Smudin, Quakake, celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Oct. 4, 1975 at Christ Lutheran Church, Barnesville, by the Rev. Ernest Houston.Mrs. Smudin is the former Shirley Neifert, daughter of the late Grace (Hinkle) Neifert and the late Elden Neifert of Quakake. Her husband is the son of the late Gladys Lewis and the late Algerd Smudin of Tamaqua.The Smudins have three children: Jamie, who is married to Kory Beidleman of Clamtown; Leslie Keefer, and her husband Ryan, of Cressona; and Tracy Earhart and her husband Damien of Quakake.They have a granddaughter, Shelby Lee Beidleman; and two grandsons, Owen Jon Keefer and Dalton Kory Beidleman.
