Wrapping daffodils

Zack King and Chissy Micholick, members of Panther Valley High School's National Honor Society, wrap daffodils for the American Cancer Society's Carbon Tamaqua Unit at Hiles Brothers warehouse in Summit Hill. Direct sales will be held at the following locations from today through Saturday March 19 from noon to 6 p.m. at Boyer's Market in Tamaqua, Redner's Market in Nesquehoning, Jim Thorpe Market in Jim Thorpe, Mallard Market in Lehighton, Country Harvest Market in Palmerton, The Village in Palmerton (Tues., Thurs., 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.), and St. Luke's Miners Hospital in Coaldale (Oncolgoy Dept.) today from 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sponsors of the 2011 Daffodil Days campaign are GOLD LEVEL- BTM Incorporated, First National Bank of Palmerton, and McDonald's of Nesquehoning. Sponsorship for daffodils to be delivered to Meals on Wheels recipients SILVER LEVEL are Blue Mountain Health System, BRONZE LEVEL- Hiles Brothers Companies, Jim Thorpe National Bank, Mauch Chunk Trust Company, National Penn Bank/KNBT, Ohl Fuel Oil, Shafer's Pharmacy, and CORPORATE FRIEND- Blakeslee Inn and Vermillion Dental Office.
