Kelly Cara, daughter of Tom and Linda Cara of Tamaqua, and Gary Nothstein Jr., son of Gary and Patricia Jo Nothstein of New Ringgold, were united in marriage on Oct. 3, 2009 at St. Peter and Paul Church in Tamaqua. The Rev. Eugene P. Ritz officiated the double ring ceremony. Audrey Christ was the organist while Mary Minor was the vocalist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Marie Wilczewski to serve as matron of honor. Ashley Edwards and Kate Dettbarn were bridesmaids.David Nothstein, brother of the bridegroom was the best man. Ushers included Neil Lipinski and Tony Colicigno.The couple greeted family and friends at a reception held at Edgewood in the Pines, Drums. They honeymooned in California.The new Mrs. Nothstein holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is employed as an account executive at echo Torre Lazur in New Jersey.Mr. Nothstein is a recent graduate, having earned a master of science in nutrition and food science.The newlyweds currently reside in Lake Hiawatha.
