Zachary Bethea Jr., 34, Pottsville, disorderly conduct, sentenced to pay a $100 fine and court costs.

Dave Stephen Anctil, 31, Williamstown, theft by deception, given credit for serving 94 days in the county prison and was released on probation for three months and ordered to pay a fine of $25, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) fund, $50 a month supervision fee and make restitution of $62.09 to Stine's Pharmacy in Schuylkill Haven for a bad check.

Dennis Edward Bugden, 33, Shenandoah, on a charge of burglary of the home of Theresa Majewski, Weston Place, West Mahanoy Township, was sentenced to serve five to 10 years in a state correctional institution, pay $50 to the CJEA fund and make restitution of $205 to the victim. On a charge of criminal mischief fined $25 and costs. On a charge of trying to avoid a drug test was ordered to pay an additional $50 to the CJEA fund and placed on probation 12 months which runs concurrent with the first sentence. On a charge of possession of a controlled substance was ordered to pay a third $50 fee to the CJEA fund, a $50 monthly supervision fee and make restitution of $50 to the district attorney's office for a bench warrant and $105 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab.

Diego Tovar, Pottsville, on a charge of simple assault of another inmate in the county prison was ordered to pay $50 to the CJEA fund and serve 12 months on probation and on a charge of hararssment pay a fine of $100 and costs.

Michael Mayersky, 24, Shenandoah, on two counts of possession of a controlled subsance was placed on probation 12 months, pay a fine of $100 and court costs, $100 to the Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to the CJEA fund and a $50 monthly supervision fee and make restitution of $176 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab and $90 to the Shenandoah Police Department' s Drug Task Force.

Brad Michael Strausser, 20, Pine Grove, on a charge of recklessly endangering another person and two counts of theft by unlawful taking was placed on probation 23 months, pay $50 to the CJEA fund and a $50 monthly probation fee. On a charge of criminal mischief by smashing windows by tossing rocks at homes on Hidden Acres, Pine Grove, was fined $100 and make restitution of $330 to Barbara Anderson and $80 to William Siegel. On a charge of disorderly conduct was fined $100 and on a charge of scattering rubbish fined $100 and costs.

Justin Michael Gernert, 26, Schuylkill Haven, on a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol spent 48 hours in the county prison over the weekend and was released on probation for six months, pay a fine of $500 and court costs, $100 to the SAE fund, $50 to the CJEA fund, $50 to the Catastrophe fund and make restitution of $60 to the Schuylkill Medical Center and enroll and complete an alcohol highway safety school and pay the required fee.

Kevin L. Umbenhauer Jr., 25, Pine Grove, on a charge of DUI sentenced to serve 72 hours in the county prison beginning Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 9:30 a.m. and when released to serve six months on probation, pay a fine of $1,000 and court costs, pay $300 to the SAE fund, $50 each to the CJEA and Catastrophe funds and make restitution of $60 to the Schuylkill Medical Center and enroll in the alcohol highway safety school and pay the required fee. On a chage of failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $25 and $50 costs.

Christopher Todd Glimp, 35, Brisbin, Clearfield County, on a charge of delivery of a controlled substamce in Pottsville was sentenced to serve three to six years in a state correctional institution, pay a fine of $100, pay $100 to the SAE fund and $50 to the CJEA fund and make restitution of $113 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab.
