Tamaqua received outstanding pitching as it picked up up baseball and softball victories on Wednesday.

BASEBALLShenandoah-Panther Vy.Panther Valley's offense erupted in a 16-1 victory over Shenandoah Valley in a Schuylkill League Division 3 contest that lasted just four innings.Wyatt Zimmerman went 2-for-3 with four RBIs for the Panthers (2-2), who scored 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
