Monroe County woman facing multiple counts

A Monroe County woman is facing multiple criminal counts stemming from a burglary at a Blakeslee home.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on June 16 at 1:58 a.m. officers responded to an automatic burglar alarm at a home on Kirtley Court. On scene officers observed a woman exiting the home with property in her hand. The woman, identified as Jennifer R. O'Neal, 40, of 1122 Mathews Drive, Blakeslee, denied having been in the house and said she was just checking on the house.Items were observed in plain view in the back of her vehicle which were identified as property that had been in the house. When confronted with this information, O'Neal admitted she entered the house and took the property, police said.She was taken into custody and charged with felony counts of burglary and criminal trespass and misdemeanors counts of theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and loitering and prowling at night.
