A Monroe County man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Monday when his vehicle was struck by another one that entered his lane of travel.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said a 17-year-old female from Saylorsburg was operating a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta southbound at 7:47 p.m. when her vehicle entered the northbound lane and collided into a 1998 Honda Civic driven by James H. Miles, 21, of Tobyhanna.Miles was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, where he was pronounced dead. The teen was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, for treatment of injuries.Police said the road was closed for several hours due to the crash.Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call police at 570-895-2400.
