TUSK: Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Experience

TUSK will be performing both Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at The Mauch Chunk Opera House, located at 14 W. Broadway in Jim Thorpe. Saturday's show is almost sold out.

Rumor has it that TUSK: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Experience not only covers the music of Fleetwood Mac flawlessly, but they re-create the stage show of this great band as well.TUSK covers all the hits of Fleetwood Mac, which has featured the talents of Mick Fleetwood, Christine and John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and others over the years.TUSK is fronted by the vocals of singer-songwriter Kathy Phillips, a respected New Jersey-based musician with a remarkable ability to capture the essence of Stevie Nicks. She has the voice and look that will impress even the most die-hard fan.The band consists of Scott McDonald in the role of Lindsey Buckingham on guitar and vocals, Tom Nelson as Mick Fleetwood on drums, Randy Artiglere as John McVie on bass, and Kim Williams as Christine McVie on keyboards and vocals.Tickets are $26.Coal Town RoundersNext Thursday, The 40 Story Radio Tower premieres another monthly installment at the opera house. The radio show is a live variety show recorded on the stage.It is then re-mastered for a podcast of original radio, theater, poetry, spoken word, comedy and more.This month features the music of Scranton's Coal Town Rounders. It is hosted by Joseph Hiatt, writer and playwright.Coal Town Rounders is a hard-driving four-piece traditional bluegrass band. Drawing influence from all types of old time string bands and bluegrass standards.The Rounders have had the opportunity to perform with acts such as the Lumineers, the Grascals, and Emmylou Harris.Currently there is a full length record being prepared for release in the spring or early summer, which will feature eight tunes penned by CTR and a take or two of a traditional song thrown in for good measure.Tickets are $10.For ticketsTickets for either show can be purchased by calling 570-325-0249 or go to
