The first-grade students at Our Lady of the Angels Academy recently celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday by learning about the life cycle of an apple tree, reading the story of Johnny Appleseed, tasting and graphing favorite apple flavors, writing sensory poetry, and creating art pieces.
