Wyoming Trail Council hosting powwow

The Wyoming Trail Council, a Native American organization, will be hosting a powwow from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Camp Rotawanis in Drums, near the town of St. Johns. This event is open to the public with grand entry at noon on both days.

American Indians of many tribes will be representing their style of ancient and modern dance while wearing the regalia associated with the various dances and customs.Native American vendors will be selling their hand crafts including blankets, furs, jewelry, knives, art and food.Proceeds benefit Camp Rotawanis and the Wyoming Trail Council. Admission is $6, and children under 12 are free. Parking is free, and pets are allowed.
