Twin daughters, Maren Elizabeth and Kara Bethany Rhyder were born on June 21, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown to Valerie A. and Eric G. Rhyder of Emmaus.

Maren, who was born at 8:03 a.m., weighed 5 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 19.25 inches long. Kara, who was born at 8:04 a.m., weighed 4 pounds, 4 ounces, and measured 17.5 inches long.The babies have two older siblings, Chloe Tostevin, 13, and Garbielle Tostevin, 11.Maternal grandparents are Edward and Jeanette Binder of Palmerton and Phyllis and Stephen Manser of Bowmanstown.Paternal grandparents are Laura and Warren Searfoss of Lehighton.Maternal great-grandmother is Elizabeth Binder of Lehighton.
