State police at Frackville reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roads.

A crash was reported at 12:50 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, along Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township. Troopers said Elaine White, 60, of Grantsville, Md., was driving a Hyundai Santa Fe northbound towing a flat trailer with an oversized load in the right lane. Another northbound vehicle passed her with the passenger side striking the door of the Santa Fe. After impact the other vehicle continued north without stopping. No description of the other vehicle was given. No injuries were reported.

A hit-and-run crash was reported on Friday, about 10 p.m., along Union Court in West Mahanoy Township. Troopers said a vehicle was driven northbound when it struck the passenger side rear bumper of a legally parked 1995 Jeep Cherokee with the passenger's side front bumper. After impact the vehicle continued north and struck another parked vehicle, a 2014 Subaru Impreza, on the passenger side front door.

The driver then fled the scene northbound. No description of the hit-and-run vehicle was given.

Troopers investigated a crash about 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, along I-81 in Butler Township. Troopers said David L. Woytowicz, 43, of Columbia, Md., was driving a 2004 Cadillac Deville southbound when a deer entered the road in front of him. He was unable to avoid the animal and struck it.

A passenger, Samantha J. Lewis, 34, of Columbia, was injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian St., Pottsville, for treatment of minor injuries, troopers said.
