State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an accident that took place at 12:07 Friday on SR61 in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

Police reported that the accident occurred when Martin Stine, 59, of Schuylkill Haven, driving a tractor trailer, was traveling south in the right lane as Adam Faust, of Orwigsburg, driving a Ford Explorer, was attempting to turn left out of the 3C's Restaurant.Police said that Faust failed to yield the right-of-way to Stine, when he pulled into Stine's lane of travel. Stine attempted to swerve in the southbound lane. After contact, Faust's Ford Explorer was pushed across the northbound lands of traveling coming to rest facing east in the northbound lanes of travel. The tractor trailer came to final rest facing northeast near the median that separated the northbound and southbound lane of travel.
