The Carbon County Commissioners announced the appointment of an 11-man advisory committee to be known as the Carbon County Committee on Drug Abuse. Members are Mayor John Polumbo, Lansford; Mayor Wilbur Bauchspies, Lehighton; Mayor Andrew Lestishock, Weatherly; Dr. Edward Grissinger, Jim Thorpe; Rev. Stephen Vidoczy, Jim Thorpe; Rev. George Bickel, Weissport; Atty. W. Joseph Engler, Jim Thorpe; Thomas Foley, Jim Thorpe; and three representatives of the Carbon County Medical Society, Dr. Serge Grynkewich and Dr. Marvin Snyder, both of Lehighton, and Dr. Stanley Cope, Palmerton.
